2017 Must Haves Giveaway + 2016 Recap

This post is doing a little look back and a little look forward. First, I'm excited to share my top 12 posts from 2016! I was just thinking about all the exciting places I traveled last year, amazing partnerships and new style posts that I had to do a mini recap. 

1. Tour of Vera Bradley HQ: This was such a fun weekend! Sarah and I took a little road trip on over to Fort Wayne to visit with you favorite people. So funny to think this is the first time I actually met Holly and Kaylee (from the Vera team) in person!
2. How to Throw a Party in 3, 2, 1: Loved this end of the year partnership with Paris312. Good news: I have something else with them in the works :)
3. Long Weekend in Denver: I loved visiting Colorado in November. The weather was amazing and we went hiking everyday. Can I please move to Boulder now?
4. Valentine's Day with RTR: I think red might be my color. This dress was perfect for a little Galentine's Day celebration!
5. Spring Stripes: This is one of my favorite dresses! It was also taken soon after the first time I colored my hair. Thinking I need a touch up soon.
6. 24 Hours in Dublin: Another amazing trip from this year was to Ireland. To say I'm obsessed is an understatement. Dying to go back.
7. The LBB Girlfriends Guide: In 2016, I launched the first Girlfriend's Guide! My plan was to release one every 6 months or so, but that didn't work out. The holiday season just got too cluttered with other blogger's gift guide posts, so I ended up holding off. Stay tuned for the next launch in March :)
8. Soho Striped Dress: I basically lived in this dress all summer. Cute and comfy are the way to go!
9. Girl Next Door: Lindsay Cavanaugh: This was a fun section from the Girlfriend's Guide. I'm super excited about who the next "Girl Next Door" is on. Eeep!
10. A Day at the Beach: I loved this shoot. I was super nervous to wear my swim suit on the blog, but I can't believe it was my top 3rd most read! I can't promise more swim pics in the future, but definitely more photos with this amazing background and lighting.
11. What's in My Bag: I had no idea how popular this was until I just looked back to compile this list. Looks like I know what post I need to do again soon.
12. The #1 post of 2016 was...Fall Weekend in Lake Geneva: I was so surprised on this one, too! I knew you guys loved this during the week I posted, but I was so pumped to see it was the most read of 2016. Guys... I have a feeling 2017 is going to involve a lot more travel posts! Hint: I have something big in the works to add to the blog on this topic. I'm so excited I might blurt it out before it's time!

Now on to the next... 2017!*

*PS: I happened to notice that there were not any beauty posts that were top hits. Do you all like beauty content or not so much? I love all things beauty and am certainly not an expert, but if you're not interested I will focus on other areas like travel!
