Due to this unseasonably warmer weather we've been honored with in Chicago this late in the game, I've been getting a bit creative with my style. Trying to keep the summer styles afloat, but still play with all the amazing fall colors. Before we know it, we'll be giant puffer coats and snow boots! Start sending help now...I have a feeling we're in for a rough winter.

I recently ordered this adorable little number from Everly Clothing (sold at Nordstrom) and was immediately drawn to it because I knew the colors were perfect for this time of year. It goes go great with a pair of dark tights/leggings and boots and like how I paired it above, with jeans and an oversized sweater for a more casual look. This is such a simple and easy way to transition some of your favorite summer pieces into fall. Plus, any excuse to wear distressed denim and an oversize cardigan is a celebration in my book!
