A Day At The Races: Arlington Race Track

Good morning! If you remember, a couple days ago I went to visit Arlington International for a great day at the races. However, the weather was much like our Monday... rainy, rainy, rainy! But, the best part was being inside a cozy suite with lots of delicious food (which obviously kept us dry and warm :) ) This was my first time at a horse race so it was quite fun to learn about the betting process, picking winning (actually mostly losing) horses and getting a tour around the park. I'm already planning when I can visit the park next with a few girl friends on a sunny summer day!

While it was one of those off days weather wise, I still decided to wear a cute sundress, wedges and jean jacket to dress the part!

Even on a rainy day the track and stables look gorgeous, am I right? So green!

Have you ever been to the Arlington Race Track before? If not, head out that way if you get a chance. You can even take the Metra from downtown which drops you off super close!
