If you remember, last week I wrote about the Think Pink Fundraiser event and today, I'm sharing my look! I'm soo happy with the way these photo turned out. Just another thing to add to my "things are getting exciting" list. This location was right around the corner from the Four Seasons Hotel on Michigan Ave - and let me tell you, taking photos for the first time outside of my own backyard was quite interesting. You can image all the eyes filled with curiosity as your friend takes pictures while it's drizzling out! An extra thanks to Jennie, for being my photographer that night, and I can't wait to get outside of my backyard more often :)
I've been wanting to get a leather pant for some time now, so I opted on these faux leather pants/leggings with a jersey side panel from H&M. Let's be honest - my booty needed a little extra stretch and the panelling provides the perfect amount. I paired them with a cream lace top and pink accessories and lipstick in honor of the breast cancer awareness event. I'm already thinking of fun combos to take me through fall and winter with oversized sweaters, a fun pea coat and booties.
In the meantime, I think I'll start my own rock band so I can wear my leather pants all the time. Be right back... going to be a rockstar!
These heels are one of my favorites. Planning to pick up a pair in black next! |
The lace detail was perfect for dressing up my top and adding softness to my outfit. |
Friends, meet the body saving jersey stretch panel. |
anddd favorite photo #2 from that shoot. Top (similar) | Leather Pant (similar) | Shoes (similar) | Watch | Bracelet (similar) | Earrings (similar) | lipstick |

Gorgeous, Katie! You know I'm all about the faux leather (ahem, pleather). I wear my pants with a long silk top, but I'm excited to pair them with oversize sweaters this winter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mags! They are a dressier legging, which is nice when you need a semi comfy day at work!
DeleteYou're so damn cute! This was fun- but it is a little odd having strangers watching you pose. Can't wait to see you tomorrow!
