Tied in a Bow

Ugh, friends. I have no excuse for not blogging over the past few days except for the fact that I'm getting summer brain! For those of you that don't know (seriously, I get this question all too often), I do work a full time job from 9-5 Monday through Friday where I sit and stare at the screen for way too long. The job of a publicist!😁 By the time I get home, I just can't look at a screen any more. Add in the nice weather, and I'm a goner! Fortunately and unfortunately, it's a one man show over here, which means it's me, myself and I trying to get everything together from week to week.

But enough of about my lack of writing as of late. Let's get to this cutie pie outfit! I found these shorts on J.Crew (along with everyone else) and knew I had to have them. My hips are a little curvier so anything that is tailored/smaller at the waist, like this bow tie or an A-line dress, is my go-to. I'm already plotting the other tops to pair with this pair of shorts!

These shorts actually come in a few different colors. I really loved this print and this color, but ultimately decided on the pink. Ok, and the pineapples are adorable! I find that most things in my closet are blue, so I'm trying to step out of my comfort zone a little bit! Friend to friend: you need these shorts. Ok, bye.
