A Mascara Moment

I'm having a moment with mascara as of late. I've been working on simplifying my morning routine to be fairly minimal unless I know I have a lot of meetings or an event, which I'll do a little more full coverage. I recently shared this post on beauty buys I am loving right now, but I knew I had to do a more dedicated post on the topic of mascara. I mean, I can't be the only one who is looking for the full lash secret? It totally completes a look and adds a little oomph - even when sleep might be a forgotten thing!

I'm currently using L'Oreal's Voluminous Volume Primer and Mascara. I promise you this is totally not sponsored, just happens to be what I'm currently obsessed with. I typically don't use a primer for the sake of having an extra step, but I really think it's totally worth the extra couple seconds. (I know, lame right.. it's only an extra 10 seconds!) I really like making my lashes to look fuller and this one takes the cake!

Isn't the saying something like...

"all things are possible with mascara and coffee."

I think I might have found my new mantra. Who knew coffee and mascara were the secret sauce? Ok, ok... so it's not that simple - but it does sound like a good start, am I right?

I have a few main issues when I'm looking for the right mascara. Between the color, type of wand, water proof vs. regular and price, I just can't seem to find a win. I also struggle with the dreaded fall of mascara to the under-eye which, to me, is the worst. Now, I haven't quite figured out that secret yet, but this mascara seems to be doing some magic.
