Happy Valentine's Day!
I'm currently looking out my window at a snow filled city white out. My head is telling me "book a trip to the beach STAT" and my body is saying "but I can't walk out the door because it's too darn cold!" Thinking I need to go with my mind on this one - any takers for a girls trip? You think I'm kidding...
Amid dreaming of beaches and pretty blue waves, we celebrate my dad's big 60th30th birthday this weekend! It was great to be back home and cheers to his special birthday. I love getting together with family and friends for occasions like this. Plus, the home cooked meals don't hurt :) Between concluding a busy work week and heading back to the suburbs, it didn't leave a lot of time for me to devote to my blog. Not to mention, last weekend I was completely exhausted from work events, rock climbing and a Soul Cycle class. (note to self: do not rock climb and Soul Cycle with in 12 hours of each other.)
But, now I'm back to the grind and bringing these distressed jeans with me. They are only $20 and available in sizes 25 and 28- Guys, this is the only pair of distressed jeans I own and I love them too much. They are so comfy and easily dressed up (as much as you can when half of your pants are missing...) by throwing on a low heel and blouse. Add a cute little bag from non other than Vera Bradley, and you are good to go! If your size isn't available, try this pair that's only $25 (and not final sale).
Do you have a favorite pair of distressed jeans? I'm thinking I need to pick up another pair soon!
